This policy explains what information Tasty Nest Recipes ("we", "us") collects when you use tastynestrecipes.com, how it is used, which third parties are involved and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Summary

  • You can read every page without an account and without giving us any personal information.
  • We do not currently show ads or run analytics, and the site does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • Email updates. If we offer an email newsletter and you subscribe, your email address is stored by our email service provider so that we can send the updates you asked for. Each email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records basic request data, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.

How we use information

  • To run, maintain, secure and improve the website.
  • To reply to your messages and act on corrections you send us.
  • To send email updates you have requested.
  • To show advertising that helps fund the site, where advertising is enabled and, where required, you have consented.
  • To meet legal obligations.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising cookies, on our legitimate interests for operating and securing the site and for replying to messages, and on your consent for email updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The recipes, guides, search and printing features on this site work without cookies.

We do not currently set any advertising or analytics cookies. If we start using advertising or analytics, we will update this policy before doing so and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies does not stop ads from appearing, but they may be less relevant to you.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We do not display advertising yet. We plan to apply to Google AdSense, and the following will apply once ads are shown:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
  • To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and How Google uses cookies in advertising.
  • Ads may also be served by other ad networks and vendors that Google works with. If we add any other ad network directly, we will name it here, link to its website and explain how to opt out of its personalised advertising.

Ads are provided by third parties and do not mean we endorse the products advertised. We never ask anyone to click on ads.

Your choices

  • Consent: once advertising is enabled, visitors in regions that require it will see a consent message, and a "Privacy and cookie settings" link will appear at the bottom of every page.
  • Personalised ads: use the Google Ads Settings and industry opt-out links above.
  • Email: unsubscribe using the link in any email, or contact us.

Third parties we rely on

  • Hosting provider: serves the website and keeps short-term technical logs.
  • Email service provider: only if you subscribe to email updates.
  • Google: only once advertising is enabled, as described above. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Our pages also link to other websites, such as photo sources and licence pages. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

Data retention

We keep emails for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Hosting logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider. Advertising cookies are governed by Google's retention policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email hello@tastynestrecipes.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children

Tasty Nest Recipes is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, for example before enabling advertising or analytics, and change the "last updated" date above. Please also read our terms and conditions and disclaimer.
